The Commission received an application by Municipal Tel Telecommunications Inc. (Municipal Tel) dated 24 April 1997 for an exemption from contribution for local business line services, effective the date of installation.

1. In support of its application, Municipal Tel provided an affidavit, dated 24 April 1997, affirming that the business line services are used by Municipal Tel for the purpose of supporting, testing and monitoring its network.
|
2. By letter dated 14 May 1997, Bell Canada (Bell) noted that the affidavit provided by Municipal Tel appears to satisfy the evidentiary requirements for administrative circuits and the number of circuits appears reasonable under the circumstances. Accordingly, Bell agreed with the requested exemption.

3. The Commission notes that Municipal Tel's affidavit meets the Commission's evidentiary requirements for an exemption from contribution for administrative circuits.

4. In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:

Municipal Tel's application is approved effective the date of installation.
