The Commission has received from NewTel Communications Inc. ex parte applications under Tariff Notices 507 dated 17 February 1997 and 507A dated 14 March 1997, proposing a short-term sales promotion for residential customers under General Tariff Item 430, "Double Real Plus Extra" Promotion.

1. The proposed tariff revisions were approved on an interim basis under Telecom Orders CRTC 97-372 dated 18 March 1997 and 97-392 dated 21 March 1997.

2. The Commission received no comments with respect to this application.
