Telecom Order CRTC 97-807-1
The Commission received a series of applications from BC TEL, Bell Canada (Bell), MTS NetCom Inc. (MTS), Maritime Tel & Tel Limited (MT&T), The Island Telephone Company Limited (Island Tel) , TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), TELUS Communications (Edmonton) Inc. (TCEI), The New Brunswick Telephone Company, Limited (NBTel) and NewTel Communications Inc. (NewTel), (collectively, the telephone companies) for approval of revisions pertaining to each company's Carrier Access Tariff, reflecting downward adjustments to the contribution rates.
ERRATUM
On 14 February 1997, Bell Canada filed an ex parte application under Tariff Notice 5940.

1. The proposed tariff revisions were approved on an interim basis on 7 March 1997 under Telecom Order CRTC 97-320.
2. The company was directed to provide a copy of the application for the public record in all relevant public examination rooms on the effective date of 1 July 1997.
3. On 17 June 1997, in Telecom Order CRTC 97-807, the Commission approved the proposed Tariff revisions on a final basis. This Order was issued in error.
4. In light of the fact that the application is not yet available to the public, the proposed tariff revisions remain with INTERIM approval, and Telecom Order CRTC 97-807 should be disregarded.
