Telecom Order CRTC 97-1931

On 12 December 1997, The New Brunswick Telephone Company, Limited filed an application under Tariff Notice (TN) 682, amended by TN 682A dated 16 December 1997, for approval of tariff revisions to: (a) remove Items 660, Frequent Caller Discount Plans, 720, Wide Area Telephone Service, 730, Brunswick800 Service, and 760, Zenith Service, of the General Tariff, and Items 2026, Teleplus Overseas Service, 2030, Outward Wide Area Telephone Service, 2042, Advantage 800 Special Promotion, 5100, FaxCom Service and 6450, Multicom Service, of the Special Services Tariff; (b) rename Item 2012, TOP 3 for Me to Real Plus; (c) remove its TOP IT OFF service from Item 2013, Loyalty Plan; and (d) make changes to Item 2022, Atlantic Business Pak to reflect National Services Tariff references.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:

The proposed tariff revisions to become effective on 1 January 1998 are approved on an interim basis.
