Telecom Order CRTC 97-1815

On 31 October 1997, Québec-Téléphone filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to Section 4.05 of General Tariff, replacing the references to cellular service with references to wireless service and proposing reduced wireless access service rates.

1. The Commission notes that on 29 August 1997, Rogers Cantel Inc. filed a series of applications under Part VII of the CRTC Telecommunications Rules of Procedure seeking amendments to aspects of the cellular access tariffs of various independent telephone companies, including Québec-Téléphone.

2. Without prejudice to its determinations with respect to the Part VII applications, the Commission approves the proposed tariff revisions on an interim basis.
