On 26 September 1997, Québec-Téléphone filed an ex parte application for approval of tariff revisions.

1. The Commission notes that the tariff revisions proposed under Tariff Notice (TN) 180 require the calculation of an imputation test as prescribed in Regulatory Framework for Québec-Téléphone and Télébec ltée, Telecom Decision CRTC 96-5, 7 August 1996.

2. The Commission considers that the tariff revisions proposed under TN 180 do not meet the imputation test.

3. In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:

4. TN 180 is denied, and the company is directed to provide an abridged copy of the application for the public record in all relevant public examination rooms within two business days.
