The Commission received a letter dated 4 February 1997 from Multi-Sync Communications (North Bay) (Multi-Sync) advising the Commission that it would be providing Centrex one-hop service in the North Bay area. Multi-Sync stated that the required affidavit would be sent shortly. By letter dated 25 June 1997, Multi-Sync provided an affidavit dated 24 June 1997 in support of its application for exemption from contribution.

1. By letter dated 15 July 1997, Bell Canada (Bell) agreed that the affidavit appears to satisfy the Commission's evidentiary requirements, effective the date of application. Accordingly, Bell agreed with the requested exemption.

2. The Commission is of the view that Multi-Sync's evidence satisfies its evidentiary requirements.
|
|
3. Based on the foregoing, the Commission orders that Multi-Sync's application is approved effective the date of application (4 February 1997).
