Licence amendment for CJWW
1. Following Public Notice CRTC 1997-124 dated 6 October 1997, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CJWW Saskatoon by increasing the day-time power of the station from 10,000 watts to 25,000 watts and by decreasing the night-time power from 10,000 watts to 8,000 watts. The licensee also proposed to relocate its transmission facilities to a site approximately 7 kilometres southwest of the current site.
2. The licensee stated that the proposed changes would enhance the station's daytime service to listeners in central Saskatchewan. The night-time coverage would remain virtually unchanged.
3. The Commission hereby authorizes the licensee to operate the undertaking on the basis of the contours and particulars resulting from the above-mentioned changes.
This decision is to be appended to the licence.
