Decision CRTC 97-653
Craig Broadcast Alberta Inc.
Licence amendment
1. Following Public Notice CRTC 1997-121 dated 29 September 1997, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the television programming undertaking at Edmonton approved in Decision CRTC 96-731 dated 1 November 1996, by increasing the effective radiated power from 602,000 watts to 704,000 watts.
2. The applicant indicated that this change has become necessary as a result of a determination to use an omnidirectional antenna at the approved site, instead of the directional antenna that was originally proposed.
3. The Commission notes that the proposed changes should provide substantially the same coverage as originally authorized.
This decision is to be appended to the licence.
