Distribution of Children's Miracle Network Telethon
|
1. Following Public Notice CRTC 1997-39 dated 16 April 1997, the Commission approves the application by Shaw Cablesystems (Sask) Ltd. (Shaw) for temporary relief, by condition of licence, from the requirement of section 19 of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986 that it not alter or curtail any programming service or radiocommunication in the course of its distribution.

2. This condition of licence will permit Shaw to curtail the programming of CITV-TV Edmonton, by substituting for it the programming of the Saskatchewan Communications Network (SCN), during the Children's Miracle Network Telethon.

3. This authority will be in effect only for the duration of the Children's Miracle Network Telethon to be aired from 7:00 p.m. on 31 May 1997 to 4:00 p.m. on 1 June 1997.

This decision is to be appended to the licence.
