Decision CRTC 97-200
Cogeco Radio-Télévision inc.
Sherbrooke and Trois-Rivières, Quebec
Administrative renewals
1. For administrative reasons, the Commission renews the broadcasting licences for the television programming undertakings CKSH-TV and CFKS-TV Sherbrooke, and CKTM-TV and CFKM-TV Trois-Rivières from 1 September 1997 to 31 August 1998, subject to the terms and conditions in effect under the current licences.
2. These administrative renewals are granted solely because the Commission wishes to consider at the same time the renewal of the licences of French-language television programming undertakings in Quebec.
3. The Commission wishes to emphasize that these administrative renewals do not in any manner dispose of any matters which may have arisen during the current term of the licences. Any such matters may be subject to comment by interveners and will be available for consideration by the Commission at the time it considers the licence renewal applications.
This decision is to be appended to each licence.
