Decision

Ottawa, 28 February 1996
Decision CRTC 96-71
Les Journaux Trans-Canada (1982) inc.
Granby, Quebec
 Revocation
Les Journaux Trans-Canada (1982) inc. has requested the revocation of its licence for the radio programming undertaking CHEF Granby.
The licensee has indicated that economic constraints and the weakness of the advertising market in the Granby area underlie its decision to close the station.
In view of the licensee's request and pursuant to paragraph 9(1)(e) and subsection 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission hereby revokes the licence issued to Les Journaux Trans-Canada (1982) inc. for CHEF.

 Allan J. Darling
