Transfer of shares
|
The Commission announces that it has approved by Letter of Authority A96-0071 dated 17 June 1996, the transfer of a portion of the issued and outstanding shares of Telelatino Network Inc., licensee of a national specialty programming service providing ethnic programming directed to Italian and Hispanic/Spanish audiences. All the shareholdings of 615606 Ontario Limited, Belacca Investments Ltd., Nicola Galli Enterprises Limited, The Estate of Edward Pasquale, Santa Maria Foods Ltd., Edward Uruena and Arthur Pelliccione, and a portion of the shareholdings of Mascia Enterprises Limited (819.34 common shares, 531.34 series "A" preferred shares, and 41 series "B" preferred shares) will be transferred to each of Joseph Vitale Family Trust, Italo Rosati and Romeo DiBattista such that each of the latter and Mascia Enterprises Limited will respectively have a 25% voting interest in the licensee.

The Commission notes that no one shareholder will be in a position to control the licensee.
