Application (951370600) by the CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION to amend the broadcasting licence of the (television) programming undertaking CBOFT Ottawa, by changing the transmitting channel of it's retransmitter CBLFT-21 Gogama from 23 to 12 and by decreasing the effective radiated power from 4400 to 468 watts.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is proposing to replace its existing UHF transmitter with a lower power VHF transmitter operating on channel 12.
|
These changes would permit the Corporation to reduce its operating costs while maintaining its coverage area.

Application (951961200) by TELEMEDIA COMMUNICATIONS INC., 580 Grande Allée, suite 500, Québec, Quebec, G1R 2K2, to amend the (radio) programming undertaking licence of CJQQ-FM Timmins by increasing the effective radiated power from 16,670 to 40,000 watts. The licensee states the proposed power increase should provide a better quality service throughout the CJQQ-FM listening area.

In the event that the application is brought to the oral phase of the hearing it would be helpful to the Commission if you provide reasons why your written comments are not sufficient and an appearance is necessary;
