The Commission has received the following applications:
QUEBEC REGION
1.  ASCOT CORNER, Quebec
Application (952978500) by TRANSVISION PARÉ INC. to amend the broadcasting licence of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving Ascot Corner, as follows:
-  to be relieved, by condition of licence, from the requirement that it distribute the priority television service CBMT-3 (CBC) Sherbrooke, Quebec, pursuant to section 9 of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986. The applicant propose instead to offer the signal of CBMT (CBC) Montréal, Quebec, received via optical fibre from Vidéotron ltée, Sherbrooke;
-  to be authorized to distribute, on discretionary tier, WUTV-TV (FOX) Buffalo, New York, received via optical fibre from Vidéotron ltée, Sherbrooke;
-  to be relieved, by condition of licence, from the requirement that it distribute the priority radio stations CBF-FM-2, CIMO-FM-1 and CITE-FM-2 Sherbrooke, Quebec, pursuant to subsection 16(2) of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986. The applicant proposes instead to offer CBF-FM Montréal, CIMO-FM Magog and CITE-FM-1 Sherbrooke, Quebec, received via optical fibre from Vidéotron ltée, Sherbrooke; and
-  to be authorized to distribute, on the basic service, CBFT (SRC), CBMT (CBC) Montréal, Quebec, WHOM-FM Auburn, WCPK-FM Portland, Maine, WEZF-FM Burlington and WVPS-FM Colchester, Vermont, received via optical fibre from Vidéotron ltée, Sherbrooke.

2.  CABANO, Quebec
Application (952467900) by RADIO CJFP (1986) LTÉE, 64 Hôtel-de-Ville Street, Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec, G5R 1L5, to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CJFP-FM Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec, by adding an FM transmitter at Cabano, operating on a frequency of 98.3 MHz (channel 252A) with an effective radiated power of 3,000 watts, upon surrender of the authorization to operate the transmitter CJAF Cabano.

Your intervention will be considered by the Commission, and will form part of the public record of the proceeding without further notification to you, provided the procedure set out above has been followed. You will be contacted only if your submission raises procedural questions.
