Proposed Amendments to the Television Broadcasting Regulations, 1987, the Cable Television Regulations, 1986, the Pay Television Regulations, 1990, and the Specialty Services Regulations, 1990
|

The Commission hereby publishes for public comment proposed changes to the Regulations listed above in order to harmonize the English and French versions of the definition "associate". A further amendment is also proposed to the Pay Television Regulations, 1990 and the Specialty Services Regulations, 1990 in order to harmonize the English and French versions of the cross-ownership provisions.

A similar change to the definition of "associate" in the Radio Regulations, 1986 has been published for public comment in Public Notice CRTC 1996-27 dated 23 February 1996.

Interested parties wishing to comment on any of the proposed amendments must send their submissions to the Secretary General, CRTC, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0N2, by 3 May 1996. While receipt of submissions will not be acknowledged, they will be considered by the Commission and will form part of the public record of the proceeding.
