The Commission has received the following application:
WESTERN CANADA AND TERRITORIES REGION
1. T HOMPSON, Manitoba
Application (952305100) by NATIVE COMMUNICATION INC. to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CINC-FM Thompson, by changing its current condition of licence which limits the amount of advertising on the station, by adding the following:
"This condition applies solely in relation to advertisers located in the market area of CHTM Thompson", as defined in Public Notice CRTC 90-111 entitled "An FM Policy for the Nineties".
This amendment to the condition of licence would allow the licensee to increase its advertising revenue through the sale of airtime to clients located outside of the Thompson market which is the area found within CHTM's 15 mv/m (daytime) signal contour.
