Application (199609880) by THE BATTLEFORDS COMMUNITY CABLEVISION CO-OPERATIVE to amend the broadcasting licence of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving North Battleford, as follows:

- by deleting the condition of licence authorizing the distribution, at its option, of WTOL-TV (CBS) Toledo, Ohio, as part of the basic service; and
|
- by adding a condition of licence authorizing the distribution, at its option, of WCCO-TV (CBS) Minneapolis, Minnesota, received via satellite, as part of the basic service.

Application (199607496) by the CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CBU Vancouver, British Columbia, by adding a transmitter at Powell River, operating on a frequency of
92.5 MHz (channel 223B) with an effective radiated power of 3,720 watts |
The proposed transmitter is intended to replace the current service provided by CHQB Powell River, a CBC affiliate.
