IN THE MATTER OF an application filed by NewTel Communications Inc. under Tariff Notice 484 dated 24 July 1996, proposing to change the start time of the night rate period from midnight to 11 PM for National Services Tariff Item 210, Message Toll Services - General, Item 212, Intraprovincial Message Toll Rate Schedules, Item 213, Canada-Canada Message Toll Rate Schedules, Item 214, Canada-Northwest Message Toll Rate Schedules, and Item 215, Canada-United States Message Toll Rate Schedules.

The proposed tariff revisions to become effective on 1 January 1997 are approved on an interim basis.
