Telecom Order CRTC 96-730
IN THE MATTER OF an application by Shared Technologies of Canada (STOC) dated 4 April 1996, for exemption from contribution charges for telephone services which it provides to tenants in a building within which it operates.
Reference: 96-2083
WHEREAS STOC stated that access to the local public switched telephone network is provided by circuits leased from Bell Canada (Bell) and all toll services are provided by Sprint Canada Inc.;
WHEREAS in support of its application, STOC provided a faxed copy of an affidavit dated 4 April 1996, and provided originals of the same affidavit on 11 April 1996;
WHEREAS by letter dated 21 May 1996, Bell agreed that STOC's services are configured as described and that the affidavit submitted meets the evidentiary requirements as set out in Applications for Contribution Exemptions, Telecom Decision CRTC 93-2, 1 April 1993; and
WHEREAS the Commission considers that STOC has met the Commission's evidentiary requirements -
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
STOC's application is approved effective the date of the application.
