Increase in power for CKUA-FM-1
|
Following Public Notice CRTC 1996-131 dated 26 September 1996, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CKUA-FM Edmonton by increasing the effective radiated power of its transmitter CKUA-FM-1 Calgary from 16,000 watts to 100,000 watts.

The Commission notes that the proposed change will improve the signal quality and extend the coverage area of the station.

The Commission hereby authorizes the licensee to operate the undertaking on the basis of the contours and particulars resulting from the above-mentioned changes.

The Commission acknowledges the interventions submitted in support of this application.

This decision is to be appended to the licence.
