New radiocommunication distribution undertaking
|
Following a Public Hearing in Vancouver beginning on 23 September 1996, the Commission approves the application for a broadcasting licence to carry on a radiocommunication distribution undertaking consisting of two low-power television transmitters to serve 70 Mile House and Green Lake.

The Commission will issue a licence expiring 31 August 2003, which will be subject to the conditions specified in the licence to be issued.

This undertaking will distribute, in non-encrypted mode, the programming services of the Open Learning Agency (Knowledge Network) and the CBC Northern Television Service, on channels 7 and 12, each with a transmitter power of 10 watts.

This decision is to be appended to the licence.
