Newmarket, Ontario - 199606125
Decrease in power for CKDX-FM
Following Public Notice CRTC 1996-125 dated 10 September 1996, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CKDX-FM Newmarket by decreasing the effective radiated power from 700 watts to 500 watts.
The licensee stated that this change is due to the need to reposition the existing transmitting antenna at a higher elevation on the supporting tower. The Commission notes that there will be no impact on the existing coverage contours.
This decision is to be appended to the licence.
