Licence amendment for CKEK
Following a Public Hearing in Calgary beginning on 15 July 1996, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the radio programming undertaking CKEK Cranbrook by deleting the authority for the rebroadcasting transmitters CFEK Fernie and CJEK Sparwood.
In Decision CRTC 96-643 of today's date, the Commission has approved an application by Columbia Kootenay Broadcasting Co. Ltd. to convert the rebroadcasting transmitter CFEK Fernie to an English-language AM radio programming undertaking at Fernie with a rebroadcasting transmitter at Sparwood.
This decision is to be appended to the licence.
