Decision

Ottawa, 31 July 1996
Decision CRTC 96-289
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
La Tabatière, Quebec - 951229400- 951228600
 Decrease in effective radiated power
Following Public Notice CRTC 1996-65 dated 10 May 1996, the Commission approves the applications to amend the broadcasting licences for CBVE-FM Quebec City and CBSI-FM Sept-Iles by decreasing the effective radiated power of their respective transmitters CBMT-FM and CBSI-FM-17 La Tabatière from 83 watts to 50 watts.
The licensee indicated that this decrease in power will render the main transmitters more reliable and, as a result, improve the reception quality of the signals.
This decision is to be appended to each licence.
Allan J. Darling
 Secretary General
