Licence renewal
|
Following Public Notice CRTC 1996-25 dated 20 February 1996, the Commission renews the licence for the radiocommunication distribution undertaking serving Atlin, from 1 September 1996 to 31 August 2003, subject to the conditions in effect under the current licence, as well as to those conditions specified in the licence to be issued.

The Commission notes that this undertaking consists of two transmitters, CH2788 and VF2062 which distribute, in non-encrypted mode, the programming services of CHAN-TV (CTV) Vancouver and CFMI-FM New Westminster, respectively.

In accordance with subsection 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the renewal of the authority for the transmitter VF2062 is subject to the issuance of a Broadcasting Certificate by the Department of Industry.
