Pelly Crossing, Yukon Territory - 951869700
Licence amendment
Following Public Notice CRTC 1996-25 dated 20 February 1996, the Commission approves the application to amend the licence for the radiocommunication distribution undertaking serving Pelly Crossing, by including the authority for the transmitter VF2041 which distributes, in non-encrypted mode, the programs of the CBC Northern Radio Service originating from CFWH Whitehorse.
This amendment will bring this licence into conformity with the Broadcasting Act and with Public Notice CRTC 1991-63 entitled "New Broadcasting Act - Amendments to Classes of Licence". It will take effect upon expiry of the separate licence currently issued for VF2041, that is on 31 August 1996.
The Commission notes that this undertaking also includes the transmitter CFPC-TV which distributes programming originating from the CBC Northern Television Service.
This decision is to be appended to the licence.
