The Commission has received the following application:
ONTARIO REGION
1. SARNIA, Ontario
Application (940284300) by BLUE WATER BROADCASTING LIMITED to amend the broadcasting licence to carry on the (radio) programming undertaking CFGX-FM Sarnia, by increasing the weekly maximum level of hits from 49.9 to 85%.
This proposal constitutes an exemption from the Commission's policy requiring FM stations to maintain the weekly level of hits below 50%.
The applicant is applying for flexibility in this matter as per the guidelines for flexibility for border market stations contained in Public Notice 1992-3, which states that the Commission may be prepared to grant relief from certain programming requirements.
