AMENDMENT TO THE TELEVISION BROADCASTING REGULATIONS, 1987
The Commission has received the following applications:

Application (951947100) by ACADIAN COMMUNICATION LIMITED, P.O. Box 308, Cheticamp, Nova Scotia, B0E 1H0, to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radiocommunication) distribution undertaking serving Cheticamp, to change the authorized distribution, in encrypted mode, by adding the following signals, received via satellite, with a power of 20 watts:

Application (951253400) by ANNAPOLIS VALLEY RADIO LTD., Box 310, Kentville, Nova Scotia, B4N 1H5, to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CKWM-FM Kentville, by adding a condition of licence authorizing the licensee to simulcast local newscasts of CKEN on its sister station CKWM-FM from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday, pursuant to Section 14 of the Radio Regulations, 1986. The proposed maximum weekly simulcast time is 6 hours 44 minutes per broadcast week.

Box 1570, Sainte-Marie (Beauce), Quebec, G6E 3C6, to amend the broadasting licence of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving Sainte-Marie (Beauce), by adding a condition of licence authorizing the licensee to distribute, at its option, the programming service of the distant Canadian signal CFTU-TV (IND) Montréal, Quebec and the signal of Télémag Québec, received via microwave, on the basic service.

In the event that the application is brought to the oral phase of a hearing it would be helpful to the Commission if you would provide reasons why your written comments are not sufficient and an appearance is necessary;
- a true copy MUST be sent to the applicant and a proof of such sending must accompany the original sent to the Commission;
- the intervention must be received by the CRTC and by the applicant ON OR BEFORE the deadline date indicated below. The Commission cannot be held responsible for postal delays;
