The Commission has received applications from the following licensees of (cable) distribution undertakings to amend their respective distribution undertaking licences for authority to originate on their cable systems a video games service as a special programming service, offered on a discretionary basis.

These applications were submitted further to the issuance of the Policy Governing the Distribution of Video Games Programming Services outlined in Public Notice CRTC 1995-5 dated 13 January 1995.
