The Commission has received the following application:
|
|
ONTARIO REGION

1. OSHAWA/PINE RIDGE, Ontario
|
|
Application (942320200) by ROGERS CABLESYSTEMS LIMITED to amend the broadcasting licence of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving the above-mentioned, by adding a condition of licence allowing the licensee:
|
|
a) to be relieved, at its option, from the requirement that it distribute CHEX-TV Peterborough on its Oshawa/Pine Ridge system as long as CHEX-TV-2 Oshawa is distributed, pursuant to paragraph 9(1)(c) of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986; and
|
|
b) to substitute, at its option, CHEX-TV Peterborough for CHEX-TV-2 Oshawa whenever the signal quality of the Oshawa signal is unsatisfactory.
|
|
The applicant indicates that the programming of these stations is almost identical.
|
