North Nova Cable Limited
The Commission has received the following applications:
ONTARIO REGION
1. EXETER, CENTRALIA, HURON PARK AND SURROUNDING AREA, DASHWOOD AND CREDITON, Ontario
Application (950204800) by EX-CEN CABLEVISION LIMITED, R.R. 2, Clinton, Ontario, N0M 1L0, to amend the broadcasting licence to carry on the (cable) distribution undertaking serving the above-noted localities as follows:
a) for authority to delete the local head end and interconnect its cable distribution undertaking through the use of optical fibre with Bluewater TV Cable Ltd. serving Goderich, Clinton, Bayfield, etc., Ontario, (a class 2 system);
b) by adding a distant head end to interconnect the Ex-Cen Cablevision Limited cable system to the Bluewater TV Cable Ltd. cable system head end; and
c) by adding a condition of licence authorizing the licensee to distribute, at its option, as part of the basic service, the Global Communications Limited (Global) signal received via satellite and CITY-TV Toronto, Ontario received via satellite from Canadian Satellite Communications Inc. (Cancom).
The applicant states that there is no fee increase associated with this proposal.
