Telecom Order CRTC 95-313
IN THE MATTER OF an application by Kenora Municipal Telephone System (Kenora) under Tariff Notice 1 dated 1 February 1995, for approval of its General Tariff.
WHEREAS, in Telecom Order CRTC 94-1360 dated 17 November 1994, the Commission gave interim approval to the Carrier Access Tariff filed by the Ontario Telephone Association on behalf of the company; and
HAVING examined the submissions filed -
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
1. Subject to 2 below, the proposed tariff revisions submitted by Kenora under Tariff Notice 1 are approved.
2. Kenora's Carrier Access Tariff is to remain approved on an interim basis.
3. Kenora is directed to file proposed tariff pages including terms and conditions for providing per-line/per-call display blocking.
4. Kenora is directed to disable Call Return on blocked local and toll calls by 15 September 1995.
5. Kenora is to advise its subscribers of the availability of the disablement of Call Return in any billing inserts announcing its implementation; through the telephone directory, in the normal course of publication; in any privacy brochures; and, in any promotional advertising for Call Management Services.
6. Kenora is to incorporate information on the disablement of Call Return on blocked local and toll calls in its Call Management Services Tariff following the implementation of this feature.
