Telecom Order CRTC 95-1305
IN THE MATTER OF applications by Bell Canada (Bell) under Tariff Notice 5587, dated 6 October 1995, and Manitoba Telephone System (Manitoba Tel) under Tariff Notice 171, dated 3 October 1995, to provide optical fibres between their respective customers' locations under special tariffs.
WHEREAS the Commission is of the view that it would be appropriate to conduct a public process to consider the issue of whether optical fibres should continue to be provided under special tariffs, or whether they would be provided under general tariffs;
WHEREAS the Commission will issue a Public Notice on this matter in the near future; and
WHEREAS the Commission will provide its final disposition of the applications after the public process is completed -
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
Bell Tariff Notice 5587 and Manitoba Tel Tariff Notice 171 are approved on an interim basis.
