Decision

Ottawa, 7 December 1995
Decision CRTC 95-885
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Blanc Sablon and Québec; Blanc Sablon and Sept-Iles, Quebec - 951203900 - 951202100
Decrease in effective radiated power
Following Public Notice CRTC 1995-167 dated 10 October 1995, the Commission approves the applications to amend the broadcasting licences for CBVE-FM Québec and CBSI-FM Sept-Iles by decreasing the effective radiated power of their respective transmitters CBMS-FM and CBSI-FM-21 Blanc Sablon from 100 watts to 78 watts.
The licensee indicated that this decrease in power will render the main transmitters more reliable and, as a result, improve the reception quality of the signals.
Allan J. Darling
Secretary General
