Decision

Ottawa, 11 August 1995
Decision CRTC 95-550
Galahad Cable Vision Society
Galahad, Alberta - 941568800
Licence renewal
Following Public Notice CRTC 1995-37 dated 2 March 1995, the Commission renews the licence held by Galahad Cable Vision Society, for the cable distribution undertaking serving Galahad, from 1 September 1995 to 31 August 2002.
The operation of this undertaking is regulated pursuant to Parts I and III of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986 (the regulations) and the licence will be subject to the conditions in effect under the current licence, as well as to those conditions specified in this decision and in the licence to be issued.
Consistent with Decision CRTC 93-157 dated 17 May 1993, the licensee is relieved, by condition of licence, of the requirement of paragraph 22(1)(a) of the regulations that it distribute the signal of the local station CBXT-12 Forestburg so long as the signal of the regional station CKRD-TV-1 Coronation is distributed.
Consistent with the same Decision, it is a condition of licence that the licensee be relieved of the requirement that it distribute at least four television programming services as provided for in section 23 of the regulations, so long as it distributes only those U.S. television services listed in the current application or as may be authorized by the Commission.
