Victoria, British Columbia - 950021600
Licence amendment for CKKQ-FM
Following Public Notice CRTC 1995-66 dated 26 April 1995, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CKKQ-FM Victoria by increasing the effective radiated power from 44,000 watts to 47,600 watts.
The Commission notes that the licensee has relocated its antenna northwest from Mount Work to Malahat Ridge, and hereby authorizes the licensee to operate CKKQ-FM on the basis of the contours and particulars resulting from this relocation.
The licensee indicated that the above-noted changes will improve the quality of the service offered to Greater Victoria and to the Saanich Peninsula and Mill Bay-Malahat
districts.
