New radio network licence
|
Following a Public Hearing in the National Capital Region on 30 November 1994, the Commission approves the application by Telemedia Communications Ontario Inc. for an English-language radio network licence for the purpose of broadcasting the 1994-95 pre-season and regular season games of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League.

The Commission will issue a network licence expiring at the end of the 1994-1995 NHL season, subject to the conditions specified in the licence to be issued.

Any affiliates of the CBC carrying broadcasts of the games must ensure that their network affiliation agreement is respected, and that any rescheduling of CBC programs affected by the broadcasts in question is acceptable to the CBC.
