Licence amendments for television programming undertakings concerning the airing of infomercials
|
Following Public Notice CRTC 1995-21 dated 14 February 1995, the Commission approves the applications to amend the broadcasting licences for the television programming undertakings listed below by adding to each licence the following condition of licence:

In addition to the 12 minutes of advertising material permitted by subsection 11(1) of the Television Broadcasting Regulations, 1987, the licensee may broadcast infomercials as defined in Public Notice CRTC 1994-139 and in accordance with the criteria contained in that public notice, as amended.

The Commission acknowledges three interventions in opposition to the applications by BBS Saskatchewan Incorporated and has noted the licensee's replies thereto.
