BC TEL - REVISED RATES FOR ROTARY DIAL SERVICE

Reference: Tariff Notice 3165

The Commission has received an application from BC TEL, dated 2 September 1994, for approval of tariff revisions that would reduce the differential between touch tone and rotary dial service rates. The company proposes to reduce the touch tone differential in stages, ultimately eliminating it entirely effective 1 November 1995.

The application may be examined at any of BC TEL's business offices or at the offices of the CRTC, Room 201, Central Building, Les Terrasses de la Chaudière, 1 Promenade du Portage, Hull, Quebec, or 800 Burrard Street, Suite 1380, Vancouver, British Columbia. A copy of BC TEL's application may be obtained by any interested person upon request directed to the company at the address shown below.

The Commission has given the proposed tariff revisions interim approval in Telecom Order CRTC 94-1114, 28 September 1994, and will make a final determination after comments received in response to this Public Notice have been considered.
