The Commission has received the following application:

Application (940232200) by TELEMEDIA COMMUNICATIONS ONTARIO INC. to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CKAT-FM North Bay as follows:
|
- changing the program format from Group II - Country and Country-oriented to Group I - Pop, Rock and Dance; and
|
- by reducing the annual amount of direct costs to be spent on Canadian talent development (CTD) from $9,600 to $8,000.
CKAT-FM's annual $9,600 CTD expenditure, as well as the Country music format, would be assumed by Telemedia's AM undertaking in North Bay, CFCH.

In the event that the application is brought to the oral phase of a hearing it would be helpful to the Commission if you provide reasons why your written comments are not sufficient and an appearance is necessary;

- a true copy MUST be sent to the applicant and a proof of such sending must accompany the original sent to the Commission;

- the intervention must be received by the CRTC and by the applicant ON OR BEFORE the deadline date indicated below. The Commission cannot be held responsible for postal delays;
