Application (941645400) by REGIONAL CABLE TV (ATLANTIC) INC., 17 Duffy Place, St. John's, Newfoundland, A1B 4L1, to amend the broadcasting licence of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving West Bay, as follows:
- by deleting the condition of licence requiring the licensee to distribute the signal of the Atlantic Television System Ltd. (ASN), on a unrestricted channel of the basic service; and
- by being relieved of the requirement that it distribute the signal of the local television station CBFNT (SRC) Port au Port, Newfoundland, pursuant to subsection 22(a) of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986. The licensee proposes to distribute the CBC French-language service, received via satellite.

Application (940649700) by LES IMMEUBLES GILBERT PEDNEAULT LTÉE to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CFGT Alma, by deleting the condition of licence requiring the licensee to produce a minimum of fifty-three (53) hours of local programming per week.
The licensee states that this amendment is necessary because of the changes which have occurred in the radio market in the last two years in the Alma Region. However, the condition of licence will be replaced by the licensee's commitment to produce thirty (30) hours of local programming per week.
