The Commission has received the following applications:
ONTARIO REGION/RÉGION DE L'ONTARIO
1. EGANVILLE, Ontario
Application (941385700) by BONNECHERE CABLE CO. LTD., P.O. Box 209, Eganville, Ontario, K0J 1T0, licensee of the cable distribution undertaking serving Eganville, to change the authorized service area by extending it south to include an area of Highway 41.

2. PEMBROKE, Ontario
Application (940738800) by the CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CBO-FM Ottawa, by changing the facilities of its rebroadcast transmitter CBCD-FM Pembroke, as follows:
a) by changing the frequency from 96.7 MHz, channel 244C1 to 92.5 MHz, channel 223C1; and
b) by decreasing the effective radiated power (ERP) from 52,300 to 49,000 watts.
The change in technical parameters would result in negligible change in coverage. The CBC has reached an agreement with Pelmorex Communications Inc. to use the existing Pembroke transmitter site. If approved, the applicant states that this change will result in improved FM spectrum utilization, and reduce overlap with CBO-FM Ottawa.
