The Commission has received the following application:

Application (940366800) by the CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CBYG-FM Prince George, British Columbia by adding a transmitter at Chetwynd, operating on a frequency of 93.5 MHz (channel 228A) with an effective radiated power of 180 watts.

Subject to the approval of this application, the Corporation undertakes to turn off the AM transmitter CBUZ within twelve months following start of operation of the proposed FM transmitter.
