Telecom Order CRTC 94-996
IN THE MATTER OF an application by BC TEL under Tariff Notice 3137 dated 15 July 1994, for approval of revisions to General Tariff Item 364, reflecting an increase of 10% to the existing monthly rates for support structure facilities.
WHEREAS in support of its application, the company filed a Cost Study using the methodologies prescribed in Telecom Decision CRTC 86-16 (Decision 86-16) and in accordance with the Commission's ruling in Telecom Letter Decision CRTC 91-8 (Letter Decision 91-8);
WHEREAS the Commission notes that BC TEL filed an application dated 29 July 1992 to review and vary Letter Decision 91-8 dealing with the application of one component of the formula associated with the Decision 86-16 methodology and that such application, together with the proceedings commenced by Public Notice 93-50 is pending before the Commission;
WHEREAS the Commission received comments from the Canadian Cable Television Association (CCTA) on 29 July 1994;
WHEREAS BC TEL filed a reply to the CCTA's comments on 8 August 1994; and
WHEREAS the Commission has taken into consideration the comments received and the company's reply thereto -
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
1. The proposed tariff revisions submitted by BC TEL under Tariff Notice 3137 are given interim approval effective the date of this Order.
2. BC TEL is directed to file answers to CCTA's interrogatories within thirty days of the date of this Order.
3. CCTA's is directed to file comments within thirty days of receiving answers to its interrogatories.
4. BC TEL is directed to file its reply comments within ten days of receiving CCTA's comments.
