Telecom Order CRTC 94-1249
IN THE MATTER OF an application by Bruce Municipal Telephone System dated 28 February 1994, previously filed with the Ontario Telephone Service Commission (OTSC), for approval of a Non Sufficient Fund (NSF) charge of $21.75.
WHEREAS the Commission notes that detailed costing information and history of NSF cheque volumes was provided in response to OTSC interrogatories;
WHEREAS the Commission considers that an NSF cheque charge of $20.00 per cheque will allow for recovery of costs; and
HAVING examined the submissions filed -
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
The proposed tariff revisions submitted by Bruce Municipal Telephone System (OTSC File
No. 94-122M) are approved effective the date of this Order, subject to the following change: the rate for NSF cheques shall be $20.00 per cheque.
