The Commission will hold a public hearing commencing on 19 May 1994, at the Commission Headquarters, 1 Promenade du Portage, Hull, Quebec, to consider the following:
QUÉBEC REGION / RÉGION DU QUÉBEC
1. LAC MÉGANTIC, Quebec
Application (940088800) by RADIO PLUS LAC-MÉGANTIC INC., 185 Roi Street, Asbestos, Quebec, J1T 1S4, for authority to acquire the assets and for a broadcasting licence to continue the operation of the (radio) programming undertaking CKFL Lac Mégantic, upon surrender of the current licence issued to Communéquipe Inc., under the same terms and conditions as the current licence.

Application (932374200) by TÉLÉ-CÂBLE CHARLEVOIX (1977) INC., 88 - 11th Avenue, P.O. Box 500, La Pocatière, Quebec, G0R 1Z0:
a) for authority to acquire the assets and for a broadcasting licence to continue the operation of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving Saint-Siméon, upon surrender of the current licence issued to Câblovision Plus Inc., under the same terms and conditions as the current licence;
b) to add a distant head end, as follows:

47°48'17"N
69°33'12"W; and
c) to amend the broadcasting licence authorizing the licensee to distribute CFCF-TV (CTV) and CFTU-TV (IND) Montréal, CKRS-TV (SRC) Jonquière, CJPM-TV (TVA) Chicoutimi, Quebec; WCFE-TV (PBS) and WPTZ (NBC) Plattsburgh, New York; WCAX-TV (CBS) and WVNY (ABC) Burlington, Vermont, received via microwave, on the basic service.
The Commission will only proceed with this application at the public hearing if advised by the Department of Communications, at least ten days prior to the hearing, that acceptable technical documentation has been filed with the Department.

- your intervention should clearly indicate whether you support or oppose the application or if you propose changes to it, with facts and grounds therefor and if you wish to appear at the public hearing, if there is one;
- a true copy MUST be sent to the applicant and a proof of such sending must accompany the original sent to the Commission;
- the intervention must be received by the CRTC and by the applicant ON OR BEFORE the deadline date indicated below. The Commission cannot be held responsible for postal delays;
