Decision CRTC 94-194
Alain Larivière
Sainte-Germaine-Station, Quebec - 930950100
Licence renewal
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1993-161 dated 23 November 1993, the Commission renews the licence held by Alain Larivière, for the cable distribution undertaking serving Sainte-Germaine-Station, from 1 September 1994 to 31 August 2000. This term will enable the Commission to consider the renewal of this licence at the same time as that of other cable systems in the area.
The operation of this undertaking is regulated pursuant to Parts I and III of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986 (the regulations) and the licence will be subject to the conditions in effect under the current licence, as well as to those conditions specified in this decision and in the licence to be issued.
In addition to the services required or authorized to be distributed pursuant to the applicable sections of the regulations, the licensee is authorized to continue to distribute CFJP-TV Montréal, received via satellite, as part of the basic service.
Consistent with Decision CRTC 90-1151, it is a condition of licence that the licensee be relieved of the requirement that it distribute at least four television programming services as provided for in section 23 of the regulations, so long as it does not distribute any U.S. television services or only those which may subsequently be authorized by the Commission.
