Renewal of CHLR-FM
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1992-84 dated 11 December 1992, the Commission renews the broadcasting licence for CHLR-FM Rigolet, from 1 September 1993 to 31 August 1999, subject to the conditions specified in the licence to be issued.
The Commission notes that CHLR-FM broadcasts 15 hours of local programming weekly as well as 20 hours of programming received from the Okalakatiget Society network and 29 hours of programming from the CBC Eastern Arctic Regional Service.
The Commission notes that this station is a Type A FM native radio station in accordance with Public Notice CRTC 1990-89 dated 20 September 1990 entitled "Native Broadcasting Policy".
