The Commission has received the following applications:
1. HALIFAX, Nova Scotia
Applications (930184700, 930485800) by SUN RADIO LIMITED to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CIEZ-FM Halifax, as follows:
- by decreasing the level of instru-mental musical selections from "at least 50%" to "35% to less than 50%";
- by converting, until the station becomes profitable, the annual $17,500 direct expenditures for Canadian talent development to $34,000+ indirect expenditures;
- by deleting, in accordance with the Commission's policy announced in Public Notice 1993-38, the requirements contained in the Promise of Performance with respect to the following:
- the minimum levels of News and Spoken Word; and
- the maximum level of advertising.

Box 4010, Hull, Quebec, J8Z 1W5, to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CHOA-FM Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, by adding a secondrebroadcaster at Val d'Or, operating on a frequency of 96.5 MHz (channel 243) with an effective radiated power of 50 watts, to broadcast the programming of CHOA-FM Rouyn-Noranda received via CHOA-FM-1 Amos/Val d'Or.

Application (930259700) by the SOCIÉTÉ DE DÉVELOPPEMENT ÉCONOMIQUE DE BETSIAMITES, doing business under the name and style of "Télécâble Pesamit Enr.", to amend the broadcasting licence of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving Betsiamites, by adding a condition of licence relieving the licensee from the requirement that it:
- own and operate its local headend, pursuant to section 4 of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986.
The applicant proposes to feed its undertaking using the headend of Télécâble Côte-Nord Inc. located at Chute-aux-Outardes, Quebec. The two undertakings would be linked together optical fibre.

Application (930094800) by CIBM-FM MONT BLEU LTÉE to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CHOX-FM La Pocatière, by adding a rebroadcaster at Baie St-Paul, operating on a frequency of 94.1 MHz (channel 231) with an effective radiated power of 7.9 watts, to rebroadcast the programming of CHOX-FM La Pocatière and to no longer use the studio located at Cap-à-l'Aigle, Quebec.
